Severe Storms Presentation - in Your Classroom!
(read on...)

As pictured above, I will come to your school and do a severe weather presentation for your students.  In this program your students will learn:

  • The basics of Thunderstorm development

  • Cloud forms

  • Lightning, hail and wind awareness

  • Safety instruction (where to seek shelter, how to prepare, and how to educate other family members

Do you know the position to assume if you think you might be a target for lightning?
Do you have a rehearsed plan for your family in the event of a Tornado Warning?
Can you explain the difference between Tornado and straight-line wind damage?

These, and many other questions will be answered during this 1 to 1.5 hour presentation.

Your students will see video, have questions answered and be challenged with educating those around them on the importance of preparedness and precaution.  This is a fun, entertaining way to learn about the topic of severe weather.

I do not charge any fee for this service, it's my way of giving a little back to the community, I only ask for your patience around timing as my full-time employer takes scheduling precedence.

I have tailored the presentation primarily for 4th to 6th graders.  The session can be more interactive with a single classroom of students, but as the size of the group increases the interactivity level drops because it becomes a bit more difficult to maintain control (the largest group I have presented this program to is about 100 students).  I am available in northeast Illinois / Southeast Wisconsin.  Contact me for availability if you are interested.
